This technique shows the code segment for a curve that can exhibit a curved trough throughout the input range. This is one of several complex curves that allow different shapes to be created by using input variables that can tune the shape of the curve. The construction of this curve is an accumulation of the simple features described in the techniques section of the User's Manual.
This curve, like the other "complex curves" are meant to be merged into a design and tuned using the configuration controls to meet specific needs. This tuning function can be done manually, or the tuning controls can be tied to other control signals to make the curve move dynamically.
Like most of the complex curves, most of the design is hidden.
Inputs with indexes 1-3 drive the left portion of the curve and those with indexes 4-6 drive the right portion.
