Heuristic Reasoning in Batch Processing

It is difficult to describe how to interpret non-linear signals using the human written or verbal language. The following policy is defined as non-linear relationships (without mathematics), using the KEEL dynamic graphical language.

Integrating Curves

The source code below is created from a library of dynamic curves (parameters can be controlled by external variables) provided with the KEEL Toolkit.

The development time for this complex set of relationships was approximately 15 minutes using the KEEL dynamic graphical language.

This demonstration provides supplemental information for a paper and presentation that is being prepared for the ISA 2005 show in Chicago October 25-27, 2005.

A more complete discussion of the problem being addressed and the use of KEEL will be provided in the ISA Paper and associated Presentation Material.
